This was OK, it covered necessary ground. I didn't expect biogramps to be a McGuffin.

I don't know what the foreshadowing would have been, but I had a feeling that Old Abby's boyfriend would be called out as a doof.

Going all in on being a heartwarming family show was a good choice, I think. It's not a side of Bobby Moynihan we saw much of on SNL but he's really good at it. I'm glad they've backed off on the wacky inventions for stereotypical Japanese investors from the Pilot.

The mom doing Krav Maga was funny. They are sparing with the ironic future predictions (advice to work in newspapers this week, big bro's idea for essentially Amazon.com last week) which makes the few they sprinkle in work better.

Is this the first time we've seen Alex's mom in the middle timeline? I was worried something happened to her and was glad to see her.

I think Future-Alex does best when they focus on his family (this episode and his birthday) instead of him and Nori. I wonder if they'll quietly change Abby's job from "GM of the Chicago Bulls" to something more relatable if they get a second season.

Disappointing news. CBS is pulling rookie sitcom Me, Myself & I off the air after six low-rated episodes. They say it "will return to the schedule at a later date" and finish airing the 13 ordered episodes, but this doesn't look good.

It happens all the time, sure, but I like low-key sitcoms. And just after Tim Reid was introduced! :(
