First off, Maze looked fabulous in this episode. I loved her first kinky-hair look but even in the conservative peals and dress, she was stunning.

Second, I love that Linda stood up to challenge Maze to a fight. Even though she was drinking, I don't think she was entirely blotto. She was still aware enough to remember what Maze was and she didn't back down. Way to go, Linda.

Does it make me a sap for being glad that Dan and Charlotte got together in the end? I guess, but Charlotte is working hard to become better and happier and it's nice to see her making a bit of progress.

Speaking of progress, of course they let Lucifer backslide from his understanding and revelation as to why Chloe said yes to Pierce. I really need to start seeing a bit of forward momentum from him or in his relationship with Chloe.

Lucifer also managed to look good scruffy, while channeling Chloe, which isn't something I'd expect to say while he was sporting that terrible green coat.

Good on Chloe for realizing that she was being stupid with Pierce and for understanding why she made such a dumb decision. Of course she's going to suffer for it because Cain won't be able to take no for an answer, which is a shame because now they're going to turn the character into an even bigger jerk than he has been, and I'm kind of partial to not-completely-a-jerk Cain.

I really need to start seeing a bit of forward momentum

I didn't quote the last half of the sentence because I would append "on everything" to it.

Is there any aspect of this season which hasn't essentially been treading water? What storyline or relationship has moved forward in an appreciable way? The Maze/Lucifer one has been strained artificially by the writers but it hasn't really gone anywhere. Chloe/Lucifer is no further along than it was 2 seasons ago. Dan/Charlotte got together... again? I'll stop.

I enjoy the show but it feels like literally nothing is happening.

I'm still not sure what was going on in this episode. Why was Maze dressed as a 1950's TV housewife?

Well, good for Dan for putting it all out there, I guess.

Very short engagement and yet it still had a party.
