Adopted from South Korea, raised on different continents & connected through social media, Samantha & Anaïs believe that they are twin sisters separated at birth. Previously on the blue.

I originally learned about this pair when they were crowd funding to make this documentary, and it's been sitting on my Netflix watch list for awhile. I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did, but watching their relationship unfold, particularly after they met in person for the first time, was really compelling and heartwarming. While they were still just skyping, I had no problem telling them apart, but once they were being filmed together, I started to lose track until one spoke (I'm normally pretty great at recognising and distinguishing between faces, so this was surprising). I loved that they developed this term ("pop!") that became shorthand for the whole mess of feelings and emotions that they were experiencing while discovering their history together.

Some of the comments on that "previously" link are cringeworthy in their cynicism, but it's a nice roundup of related links.
