We just put this on for my five year old a few days ago. A fun little kid's movie that doesn't hold up to the slightest thought but who cares? Debbie Reynolds! Monsters walking around! I liked that the kids get center stage for a long period of time and that the "bad kid" gets a shot at redemption. Plus he's the one who's got self-image issues, not the female lead, and we get a firm but not overdone bit that it's his actions that count. It's junk but unoffensive junk.
