I liked the case of the week, but I felt like I wanted more screen time with the overarching plot.

90's Liv is great though!

I loved how 90's brain still went with Liv's overall personality pretty well, plus it was fun. I admit a 20 year coma victim is a stretch, but anything that reminds me of Clueless makes me happy.

Do you think Liv’s brother is actually sick or were they using that as an excuse to escape the city?

I kind of felt like he must not really be sick--there's no way that Major personally is reviewing the exit program applications and denies Liv's brother without even discussing it with her. And though Major would hesitate to pull strings, without even bending the rules, it seems Evan would qualify since he needs medical attention that can't be gotten in Seattle. So I'm calling bullshit on that whole story.

I think it's probably best to end it so they don't have to spin out the inevitable downfall of Seattle just to keep the narrative going, but I am going to miss this show.

Small plug for Veronica Mars, though. If you never gave it the chance it deserved because it looked like a basic HS CW drama, you're missing out. I'm rewatching in advance of the new season (!) that drops at the end of the month. It 100% holds up, and is the spiritual predecessor to iZombie in every way. Like iZombie without the zombies. I had a vague sense when I watched iZombie that Major was kinda like Duncan Kane, but I cannot seem to separate them in my mind as I'm rewatching VMars.
