I think this is where I share that the only piracy Cease and Desist notice I ever got from Comcast was over torrent of Friday The 13th 3(D) in anaglyph. I think they were trying to save me from myself.

They failed, of course. The Man will not tell me what neigh-unwatchable 80s horror sequels I can subject myself to.

The first few minutes culminating in the death of Jason are amazing. The rest? Unwatchable.

I hate to admit this, but I haven't watched the movie yet, and am not sure if I ever have. I am going to try to do it tonight, but it is hard to get excited about it.

I used the old trick: beer.

Honestly the movie isn't so bad. The beginning is great, and honestly I would eat the heart too. We also learn that Jason doesn't like mustaches, and they almost sort of show two men kiss.

Ok it might be the beer talking, but that wasn't that bad. The restaurant was funny (she literally put her baby in a cardboard box and said she would come back later!), The vorhees mansion stuff was fun (why are the lights on?!), the necronomicon was funny. The violence in general was pretty good (the old rake to the chest), and the allusion to Freddie Krueger* at the end was a nice touch. Oh and the whole Aliens vibe in the final fight. I enjoyed it.

Also, I refuse to go back and check, but I swear there were like a dozen baby actors ranging in age from like 6 months to 2 and a half years.

*I realized that I forgot to include Freddie vs Jason in this film club, but I think it belongs so I will schedule it after Jason X and postpone the reboot. Nice that the next three movies are all at least watchable.

The thing I remember about Jason's death is that the FBI were lined up in a circle to fire on him, so Jason was getting hit from all sides. I don't know how half of those agents were killed by friendly fire.

AND they shot like a cruise missile in the middle or something.
