With this episode we're finally seeing the real start of the second season but rather than following along logically the show seems to have pushed the reset button and suddenly characters are off doing all kinds of things without explanation.

As far as I recall, we've been given no background on Hank that indicates he's a farm or ranch boy, but here he is teaching a recovering addict to ride. I'm also not sure that we've been given any real explanation for why Donna and Kory have teamed up to take down criminals and why Donna in particular would abandon her life and her photography career to do this.

Then we have Dick being an absolute idiot for no reason other than this show seems to require him to act so out of his comic book character. Rose Wilson wasn't being chased by bad guys or super powered pursuers. She was involved in a high speed chase with the police. Just because Dick witnessed her displaying some skills doesn't mean it's a smart or a safe decision for him to kidnap her (she's right on that accusation) and bring her to the tower exposing his identity and the identity of everybody else in the building, including Jason's and by extension Bruce's. There is no excuse for such stupidity from such a veteran of the mask and cape game even if he currently doesn't have either a mask or a cape to call his own.

Look, I understand Dick wanting to take Rose under his wing, especially if the producers have decided to substitute her for Terra in this story arc, but there so many better ways to do that.

I was a bit surprised that they acknowledged Roy Harper, especially since he wasn't shown as one of the original Titans in the tour of the tower last episode and also (and mainly) because I didn't think they'd bring an Arrow character into the story, especially since Roy seems to be back for the last season of Arrow.

I know I asked about posting individual episodes versus a whole season thread. For now, I'll try to do this, but at some point I may resort to just putting up one for the remaining episodes of the season.

I get the feeling that episode 1 of this season actually was the script of the final of season 1. This episode feels like the season opener.
