The Good Place: The Podcast's host Marc Evan Jackson sits down with Jameela Jamil and writer Joe Mande to shoot the shirt about Season 4, Episode 5, "Employee of the Bearimy." Jameela talks about the faux-abusive email she sent to Mike Schur; Joe describes the green screen process behind filming Michael (Ted Danson) and Jason's (Manny Jacinto) hand car scene and reveals a writers' room Easter egg. They also talk about Jason Mantzoukas' insatiable impulse to ad-lib in scenes and the Easter eggs in the Bad Place that contain a Parks and Recreation crossover.

Joe Mande also appears as the skinsuit of demon Todd Hemple.

Jameela posits that this season has the most name-dropping from Tahani - personally I think that the Australia episodes had more?

I think (and mentioned at the time) that in Australia, she was just "spiking" them more: "My friend Gisele... Gisele Bündchen, I mean...". She seems to be squeezing more into each appearance now, but we might just be noticing because she had, what, one B-plot in the first four episodes? She's gotten the least to do of any of the main cast.

Their discussion of the weather at the "lake house" totally explains why there was so much green-screen in this episode. I knew something was weird about some of the Elanor/Tahani scenes.

The technical term "errr-eee errr-eee" is the best. I don't ever want to hear the real name again.
