Eminence: Today’s episode is brought to you by eyeliner, depression and horniness.

I liked the change in pace, it's interesting to see how versatile the show is in tone. Despite it feeling slow in some ways, I was still riveted.

- Bonus Brexit mention!

- Rather cruel dig at Meghan Markle

- Classic "I like John Malkovich" reference, why not

This show is gorgeous, and I love the music (Tunefind for this episode).

I missedd those, and didn't find them by skimming this rough transcript. Could you recap them?

(If this is Pope Eyeliner II, who was the first? ;) )

Interesting to hear Sir John speak of the vagrant, dying in the street and the Church thinking of him, plus Gutierrez say that Rome is "Constantly mild," while the migrant boy was huddled in the apparent cold of the night. I wonder how the Middle Way will work for him, and the other migrants who were welcomed, then punted.

I’ll have you know that I thought carefully about the number before determining that there needed to be two I’s.

A very moody episode, to suit the new pope. I quite liked all of the Lenny visitations.

filthy light thief: I may have confused this with episode 3, sorry! Sky is two eps head of HBO and so I've been watching these ahead.

I can ask to have my comment removed, but for what it's worth, these are blink-and-you'll-miss-it references.
