The bumper-size version of the opening theme song was jarring, even knowing it was coming. But, great to have the show back.

I love this show and while it's super weird to not be able to watch an entire season at once and cry all kinds of tears, I'm so glad it's back.

This felt like such a good return to form, with the Ray Romano winking jokes and all the "who are these people who are your unrelated family?" things. I liked the Elena and Syd stuff because I love them. I loved the Penny & Schneider stuff because I'm a sucker for platonic men-women friendships. I never really cared about Alex but he's grown into himself and I like Alex now.

I love Lydia because, really, how do you not love Rita Moreno? She's having so much fun.

I missed this show so much. I'm so glad it got another(/final?) season. I think there's things that needed to be wrapped up and I'm into it. I"m ready to cry a whole bunch.

I'm looking forward to finding out more about Lydia's trip to Cuba, that was such a bummer of a cliffhanger when the Netflix axe came down.

Loved the Max hallucination.

What a lovely warm surprise that One Day at a Time is back. And that it’s the same as it ever was. I only wish I could binge it.
