Still enjoying this effort quite a lot!
But, it did seem a bit premature for a "best of" clips show. Like, we just saw a lot of that last week!

Seriously though, how rude to quibble about that. What if this is someone's first episode! Plus there was a lot of new content - esp. from so many delightful people doing their own shows.

I think they had planned 8 shows from the beginning, so this was always going to be the last one. Not as interesting!

Yeah, it was already a clip show? Smelled the end there. But to be fair, it'd be hard to keep topping itself after Hamilton, space, prom and graduation....

Dangit, I tried to ignore the parts that suggested this was the end, even if only for now.

Wow, I guess no longer available worldwide.

Krasinski will stay on with SGN as an executive producer, THR reports, but he will no longer serve as host. The originally free show, which brought in 17 million viewers, will be viewable [in the US] under CBS All Access, a paid subscription service.

Booooooo

Yeah, I can't blame him for selling out because in this day and age who the hell knows if he'll get paid again, but I'm disappointed he won't be hosting AND it's for yet another for-pay streaming channel I don't care enough to subscribe to. I don't really get around to watching the two I subscribe to that much as is. So killing the accessibility of the whole thing really smarts. If he'd sold somewhere that would keep it on YouTube, I wouldn't mind.

Also I feel like a dupe for watching this now.

Not at all surprised by him selling it like this, though. Would be more surprised if someone like Patton Oswalt or Jimmy Kimmel did it.

The thing I’m most disappointed about is the region locking, when he had correspondents in India, and featured so many people around the world.

John Krasinski Explained Why He Sold "Some Good News" After Receiving Intense Backlash From Fans. Basically boils down to "I'm too busy" (how? in quarantine?) "to keep it going, might as well pass it to someone else." Fine, but I wish you hadn't done it to somewhere that limits access when everyone has just gone broke.
