We turn to doctors to save our lives -- to heal us, repair us, and keep us healthy. But when it comes to the critical question of what to do when death is at hand, there seems to be a gap between what we want doctors to do for us, and what doctors want done for themselves.

This podcast was eye-opening for me, in terms of the results of the doctor surveys cited at the start of the podcast. Very well done, and a memorable one.

Such a good episode. I did a little fist pump when the one physician said he always asks his patients how they want to die. This is a conversation every primary care physician should get to have with their patients.
