BFF's Anna and Maya continue to navigate their 7th grade school year with sleepovers, pool parties, the theatre, impending parents' divorce, and the wrestling team, set in the year 2000.

I enjoyed this more than the first season, tons of funny scenes. I loved the Copacabana scene homage.

I am having a hard time getting through these episodes, not because they are bad, but they are really delving deeply into teenage awkwardness and embarrassment trauma. I just stopped a scene where maya is about to rate Moira as a friend on a scale of 1 to 10 without knowing Moira is secretly listening in. I just couldn’t watch right now. It’s still an excellent show, I am just having a tough time over empathizing, especially for maya this year.

Season 2 (or party 1 anyway) ends on a really high note, hope production is not delayed too long. Nina's dad is such a dirtbag.
