This does a good job of humanizing Greta and of making it clear that she is the driver of her own destiny. She's driven, so much so that despite clear discomfort at speaking publicly and interacting with others (part of that being personality/introversion, part of that being her age possibly, and certainly much of it being that she has Asperger's) she embraces a path of doing exactly that, because that's what she feels she can do and must be done.

Her parents are not only not pushing her to do this, but sometimes you get the sense that as proud as they are, they'd love it if she stopped, or at least eased up.

Focusing as it does on Greta's experiences, it doesn't delve into the science motivating her. Her statements on climate crisis are all we are given. So it maybe doesn't work that well as a film to motivate young people.

It also feels about half an hour too long, at least as it is narrowly structured here.
