Brackets lock at tip-off on the first regular (non-playin) game, so get your brackets in. :)

I made a bracket for the women's teams. I know as little about basketball as it is possible for a middle-aged American man to know, so I have high hopes of doing well here.

My sister cajoled us into doing brackets for the mens tournament, which is going delightfully poorly for all involved in our family group. Can't believe the Spiders knocked off the Hawkeyes! To say nothing of UConn and, it's looking like, Kentucky going out early. Not the biggest basketball fan but I do love the chaos.

Have done a bracket for the womens tournament. Looking forward to that immediately going sideways as well.

Holy crap, that St Peters/UK game was so fun. I love the Madness

Go Spiders! They slay a giant every time they make the tourney. They looked really good for 35 minutes.

I love the chaos in this big silly tournament.

After the St. Peter's/Kentucky game, ESPN tweeted that there are 743 perfect brackets remaining.

Out of over 17 million.

Men's side, we are down to zero perfect brackets. That was fast.

For those who are surprised by Richmond's win, the Hawkeyes play awful in the tournament all too often.

But do watch the women's team. Caitlin Clark is the best player in BB.

St. Pete’s makes this look easy. Dang.

We're watching the TCU game and having the vapors because our Frogs ARE ONLY DOWN THREE AT HALFTIME.

(If they'd quit shooting 3s and shoot 2s, they'd probably still be up.)

Well Baylor single-handedly took out both my mens and womens brackets, and now their assistant coach Jerome Tang is headed to my alma mater Kansas State to be the head coach.

Also Found myself weirdly wishing for Duke to take it all to get a lifetime moment for Coach K. Have never cheered for Duke in my life.

I'm going back and forth on Duke too. I grew up listening to "Duke is puke, Wake is fake, NC state is the team I hate. You can't go to heaven in a red canoe cause God's favorite color is Carolina blue!" even though I went to State, but it might be nice to send Coach K out in style.

We are two rounds in, and on the men's side, we are down a single #1 seed, with Baylor having gone down to Chapel Hill (I am going to DIE SALTY about the TCU/Arizona game). Left are 3 1-seeds, 2 2-seeds, 2 3s, 3 4s, a 5, a 8, 2 11s, a 10, and a 15, go St. Pete's. Carillons is in the lead with 470 and a max earning potential of 1710. My bracket is a beautiful pile of trash.

Women's side, all 4 1-seeds are still in, along with 2 2s, 3 3s, 2 4s, 2 5s, a 6, and 2 10s. Donnagirl is in the lead, with 450 points and a max possible of 1210, and my bracket is (say it with me) beautiful trash! Though I remain confident that this is NCSU's year.

In the men's tournament in all my brackets I've been super accurate on the Midwest group. It's certainly not through any magic of mine but has been a nice boost to carry through some points.

Gonzaga losing is a real stake in my brackets heart though.

Aw darn, I was really rooting for Texas Tech to knock off Duke. Entertaining game though.

The MBB FF is like a test, which of these teams do you fuckin' hate more than anything, the least.

HOW DO YOU MISS THE AND ONE THAT ESPN IS CALLING LIVE IN FRONT OF YOU.

What do my Wolfpack have to do, TACKLE UCONN to get the foul called? I don't normally bitch about officiating, but what am I watching.

Country music singer Eric Church cancels sold out arena show to attend Duke-UNC final four game.

I have never heard of this guy, but that is hilarious and I don't think I could even be mad if I was planning to attend his show. That is some extreme sportsball fandom.

I don’t know where you’re located, but if you’ve never experienced Duke and Chapel Hill fans… it’s a lot. I live here and I am already thoroughly sick of hearing about this basketball game that has not occurred yet. :)

What's crazy is that the Villanova-Kansas matchup any other tournament would've been huge and would only be overshadowed by Duke-UNC. If it ends up being Kansas-Duke it might be one of the greatest match-ups in tournament history. Vegas has the line on a Kansas-Duke game as basically even at a one point spread.

My family though I was nuts to take Carolina to the final four in my bracket, but after the way the team put the hurt on Duke for senior night (spoiling Coach K’s curtain call) I knew the guys had it in them to go far in the tournament. Honestly, I don’t really care if they lose to Kansas. Beating Duke TWICE IS what makes most Tar Heel fans giddy.
Fun fact, Carolina has a perfect record against Duke in the NCAA tournament!

I think overall the women's final 4 games were better, but the men's UNC-Duke match up was probably the best game of the bunch.

How do you blow a 15 point halftime lead? Sigh.

No one got the women's winner right (today, we are all Gamecocks!) but lockbox put it away with a resounding 1100 points. Men's side, rumple was the only one to correctly predict Kansas and ran away with 1060 points.

Thank you for playing, everyone! See you next year. :)

Belatedly checking in to be amazed that my women's bracket managed to come in second, somehow. Thanks for setting this up, joycehealy!

I'm equally amazed that my women's bracket managed to come in first, especially after the shit sandwich I ate on the men's side. See you next year!
