So, in addition to TN which was the top jury selection last week and made it through automatically, the other top jury choices from the third qualifier were Florida, Alabama and Texas. Texas and Alabama got enough of the public vote to make it to the semifinals, but Florida was knocked off by the weird beach pop from Colorado.

This week, Washington was the top jury selection, and the others in descending order were Massachusetts, Nevada, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Georgia, Utah, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Arizona and Washington D.C.

I continue to be unimpressed by the jury's taste.

My favorite part of this week's show was the halftime show, in which they tried to convince us that this has a global audience. I am skeptical of this claim, but I think it might have been the first time they actually mentioned Eurovision on air.

I think Las Marías from Arizona was my favorite this week. They were so cute and I thought the song was catchy. I also enjoyed Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Georgia and New Hampshire, in no particular order. The Crystal Method song wasn't bad either.

The Crystal Method song wasn't bad either.

It was a non-Crystal Method song by a rump-Crystal Method on a faux-Eurovision show, so of course it worked.

Well, my #1 and #4 made it through, so I'm happy enough with this week.
