A gambler (Glenn Ford) discovers an old flame (Rita Hayworth) while in Argentina, but she's married to his new boss (George Macready).

Or..."a gambler discovers an old flame while in Argentina, but she's married to his new flame."

Truly one of the great bonkers b&w pics of all time. Is it a noir? Is it a "women's pic?" Is it secretly a gay love triangle? Hayworth sizzles, especially in the musical numbers. Ford is the biggest chump who ever successfully ran a casino and an international tungsten cartel. Macready is a special kind of sociopath. Set in a dream of a South American demimonde.

There's an old print (probably illicitly) on Youtube starting here. Watch through til "now you have two friends" and you'll probably have a good idea of whether it will appeal to you.
