Wolf Hall?

Is anyone interested in geeking out Tudor-style on the BBC adaptation of Hilary Mantel's "Wolf Hall" and "Bring Up The Bodies"?

Episodes are available on iPlayer for those in the UK. Some discussion of the first two episodes from The Guardian.

I've been seeing ads for it after Downton Abbey so I think it's coming over soon.

Should I read the book before I start watching the series?

I've enjoyed it. It covers the same ground as The Tudors, but with Cromwell being the main character. The third episode really got good, I thought.

In April, I believe.

Yep. I'm enjoying it, but good grief does the show fail to introduce it's characters. I'd imagine it would be very confusing without the context of the book. It's an amazing historical drama though, the attention to detail is astounding, and the low light filming is really awesome.
