Aubrey and Mikey in the New Neighbors sketch were unhinged hilarious. It wasn’t unnecessarily drawn-out, too. Short, sweet, and uncluttered.

Aw shit, I loved Plaza's (completely sarcastic* - other than the having worked there once) monologue. Cool shoutout to her grandma.

*I expected that the Biden thing was a deepfake, but NBC is treating it as an actual cameo?

Digging Molly Kearney's energy and great facial control so far. Looks like they're giving the newbies more exposure than in previous seasons.

'Black Lotus' +! +! Fineman's Jennifer Coolidge is good spirited good

'Catholic School Nuns' - savage

April! Knope! ... Poehler!

'Avatar' got me some real good lols

Austin Johnson continues to be a current favourite

Sharon Stone!'

Great Ep!

Miss Universe was the weakest sketch and it was over and out of the way in a couple minutes. I wish I'd seen more of the references, but even so, M3GAN and Black Lotus were as good as any prerecordeds in recent memory and definitely at least since the Chris Redd music videos.

Aubrey was there for everything in a way I haven't seen in a long time. Top episode.

I guess the Biden thing was real.

A lot of cameos this time, though they do seem to be mostly cameos rather than stuffing in ringers like they did during the Trump era.

This was my favorite episode in a long time. Aubrey Plaza should be the newest 'once a year' host. Her comedy and weirdness are a perfect fit for the show and she melted into the cast in a way a lot of other (even very good) actors don't.

I haven't seen Avatar or White Lotus and I had never heard of M3GAN before this episode so I wasn't even sure if it was a riff on a real thing. Black Lotus and M3GAN 2.0 worked really well for me with no background info. I didn't understand or like Avatar which was the weak point for me this week, but I'm not sure if it was bad or I just don't know the references. If it's even remotely like actual Avatar I think I'm alright continuing to not watch it.

New Neighbors was excellent. The timing was great and jokes all hit. Then they did the unthinkable and ended on a high note instead of beating it into the ground or trailing off to nothing after 8 minutes. They seem to be getting better at that in general.

Catholic School Nuns was probably the high point for me. It was a great mix of accents, absurdity, and great acting without breaking - which they also seem to be getting better about. At first I thought Sarah Sherman's character was saying that the nun was her mom. Then I thought that she was calling her mom like many little kids do to their teachers. Either way it was very funny.

This was the funniest episode in a long time. The combination of unhinged humor, ending sketches on a high note, and having an actual comedy TV actor as host paid off. Aubrey Plaza absolutely killed it in every performance—I especially loved her existential nun. The only sketch that dragged for me was the football cold open.

I wish Bowen’s George Santos had shown up in just one more sketch to make it a weird running joke though.

Loved the hot salad burning the roof of the commercial director’s mouth.

Leslie Knope skipping past two Weekend Update jokes because they were too mean was hilarious.

Jon Lovitz turned up on Fallon a few nights ago playing Santos and doing the same shtick like a redressed Tommy Flanagan. He also worked a "It stinks!" into his remarks which was a fun shout out to The Critic.

I sort of did for me, too, but one of my pandemic hobbies has turned out to be watching football, and the very next day was the 49ers-Cowboys game on Fox and let me tell you SNL got it perfect. The guy with the glasses is the smart one and everything.

It's nice to see Aubrey Plaza becoming somewhat of a star. I've been a fan of her's since the Jeannie Tate show, where she kind of played a worse April Ludgate. She was excellent in White Lotus and I'm looking forward to seeing what else she does.

Great episode. She fit right in and seemed very happy to be there.

I didn't recognize Sharon Stone until the closing credits. I assume those were the actual Property Brothers? I can recognize Tony Hawk.

Always happy to see Amy.
