I really liked "The Bandits of Golak", felt really good to see Indian Star Wars.

Bandits felt like the "other side of the coin" of Screecher's Reach thematically - young force-sensitive person goes off alone with older "master" into an unknown fate. The animation style was amazing, i absolutely want more Desi star wars.

I would agree that Indian Star Wars is a natural but underserved angle -- if nothing else a ton of original influences that are usually coded as Japanese owe a lot to millennia of cross-pollination between China and India -- but wow the lethal stupidity of the sister really prevented me from caring much about the outcome.

Seriously, how many people died because of her inability to recognize obvious danger communicated by literally everybody around her?

The season was more misses than hits for me, with two stand-out exceptions. With episode 1: Sith, i would have watched a couple more had it been the pilot to a longer series. But with episode 9: Aau's Song I wanted a feature length. They sucked me into that world and I was sad when it ended.

To be fair, she's terribly young, not even 10, as I figured it. Kids have no sense of self-preservation, and she wasn't raised in a dangerous environment, it seemed like the situation suddenly became hazardous and they had to flee.
