Glee: What The World Needs Now
February 7, 2015 5:29 PM - Season 6, Episode 6 - Subscribe

It's Bacharach Week! Brittany finds out she's the daughter of Stephen Hawking, gets Artie to plan the wedding, embarks on a campaign to get Santana's abuela to accept gayness, and sells "Queso Por Dos" to Univision. Girl is busy. In other news, Mercedes is dating a Christian singer named Tank and encourages Rachel to get back on that audition horse/move back to New York again.

I would normally do a better recap than this, but my TV really acts up in stormy bad weather and I could only intermittently get the dang TV to work. However, from what I did catch of it, it was a pretty good episode for Glee. Go figure, eh?

This episode was way more subdued than other episodes this season. Not sure I like where they're going with Rachel and Sam.

I was surprised how many Burt Bacharach songs I was familiar with

I liked this episode. The Bacharach was great, but I am not sure where Alfie fit in.

I really would like to hear Jane sing again. She didn't get a solo in the Invitational. I wonder if they are going to work the tired 'Mercedes / Tina I Never Get Solos' angle. Seems kind of ridiculous when there is only half a glee club.

I want to write a poem in appreciation of Kurt's pants this season.

Brittney is my favorite, she is such a good dancer, so I was happy to see her get so much plot this episode.

Okay, finally adding that I've seen the whole show minus bad storm reception and it was pretty lovely. Though I'm still stumped at the use of "Alfie."
