Great episode. I can't wait to see how this show handles the showdown in 1987.

Yeah, it's going to be an odd ending, I think, given that the show has been renewed for a second season. So, there won't be a satisfying wrap-up to events, but some kind of cliffhanger.

I'm still not sure what Ramse is setting out to do in '87. Is he out to...make sure Cole never exists? I don't think Ramse's out to stop the plague from happening, right? If he did that, then his kid would probably never exist, and he seems to be on a mission to make sure both his kid and Elena live, so...Make sure the plague happens?

It'll be interesting to see how they manage to get Cassie to 1987 Tokyo. I'm assuming she has to play an important part in the finale.

Anyway...3 episodes to go. Lots of time to develop a good cliffhanger. Hope it has lots more Jennifer.

Remember back in Episode 2, Cole was trying to catch up with Tom Noonan's Pallid Man character and Jennifer in the basement of the hospital? And a guy in a full face mask gave Cole a pretty good beating in spite of his time-travel metabolilsm boost?

I'm pretty sure that was Ramse.

Wouldn't that mean Ramse will somehow be able to jump from 1987 to 2015 (or whenever that beating was) So...Is there a machine somewhere in 1987?

It could be he's just been waiting around for a while. Or a similar glitch to the one that hit Cole in Chechnya skips him forward a few years. I just remember that fight seeming personal to the other guy when I watched it the first time.

I assumed Ramse was attempting to preserve the existing timeline, so yes, he'd be trying to get the plague dispersed. There better be consequences for him using the machine, though; if it turns out that Cole was enough of a guinea pig for them to tune the machine into being safe-ish to use for anybody, then why wouldn't they have done that earlier?

Also totally baffled why Dr. Railly told the other doctor to go hide instead of asking for his help making a vaccine. Wouldn't he be the best qualified person to help her with one?

Still, I'm looking forward to the time shenanigans of Ramse vs. Cole. I think that'll be fun to watch.
