Hot wiring his car rather than keep looking for his keys, love it. Going to love the music too I think. Yes, I'm old.

I wanted to like this but, man, what a snore-fest.

I have to agree with you. I tuned-in hoping for something interesting, but found some pretty predictable writing and characters straight out of central casting.

Yeah, this episode convinced me that I didn't need to watch any other episodes. I would probably be happy to watch a period piece about Charles Manson, or the Nation of Islam, or the Vietnam War, or a police procedural, or a Odd Couple cop show, or whatever else besides, but not all of them jammed together at once so haphazardly.

I know very little about Charles Manson other than that he was reportedly extremely charismatic and I thought Gethin Anthony's portrayal was flat and empty. For all I know it's a decent Manson impersonation but it had no real weight to it.

I derived some small pleasure from my 'this is totes going to be on the soundtrack' pick Jefferson Airplane's 'White Rabbit' coming up in the first few minutes. But that was it.

Duchovny looked terrible and the rest were boring and I bailed.
