It's interesting to me to tease apart what actually happened, what happened but differently & what was just invented for creative reasons. The acid trip is an example of the second; Charlie did have one of his girls slip acid to somebody but it was Family member Barbara Hoyt, who'd been sent to Hawaii to evade the trial, who ate a dosed hamburger.
