Does this mean Jake's croak dream has been subverted?

Orgalorg's mouth in this episode was pretty similar to the creature that spawned Jake.

Did...Finn just encounter Barbelith?

I think Jake might actually be dead (or whatever qualifies as dead since he's guaranteed to come back)..he was out of sight for a while and Banana man was oddly silent, with no justification for him being there.

What we saw as Jake may be an extra-terrestrial shape-shifter (sort of like Jake).

I'm going to have to re-watch that episode, I can't remember what it looked like.

I'd be surprised if this scene is even revisited, really, but...it did kind of remind me of that one scene from a really, really successful mundane SF movie from a couple years ago that I don't want to spoil for those who haven't seen it?

I wonder how much of this comet and Orgalorg plotline is following a plan from before Pen Ward quit the show, and how much was devised afterward?

I don't know why, but it didn't really feel like Adventure Time to me. And I usually like the mythos episodes.

Pen Ward hasn’t quit the show. He just stepped down from being showrunner.

I liked Finn's Acceptance Song.
"Floating to my grave! Hurry up and save me!"
"Nah it's cool, you got gloves on"

I liked this episode a lot more than I've liked recent ones. It was a lot easier to pay attention and follow.

I just went back and watched "On The Lam" and noticed how both Finn and Martin think the appearance of the moth must be the universe rewarding them.

When Martin thought Finn was 40 it made me wonder if it's possible that Finn might have a half brother (or sister... possibly even Susan Strong).

What the frizzle frazzle did I watch.

Okay so if Finn was the blue comet, then does that mean all the different colors of comets were distinct consciousnesses? I gotta assume, this being the internet, that someone has made a crazy wall full of red string and laid it all out somewhere. Does it all actually fit together somehow?

It makes more sense if you go back and watch the last 4 back to back.
