When a girl whom Phryne had been instructing in etiquette turns up dead, the detective begins to question the worth of table manners and dancing.

*Investigation reveals that the dead girl, Kitty Pryce, was pregnant, and was murdered to prevent her from revealing the identity of the father.
*Jane's mother, who Phryne & everyone thought to be dead, resurfaces, and is revealed to suffer from mental illness.

Loved the fighting lesson scene, Jack's nonchalant "Of course" to Hugh's "Miss Fisher knows judo?". Like, you can see him making a 'wtf is she doing now?' face as he walks in, but then Hugh actually verbalizes his shock, and Jack gets to play it cool.

Flirty entendre of the ep:
Jack: I hope you're not concealing a dangerous weapon under that skirt
Phryne: I'm concealing a lot of things. That's what a lady does.

Oh, shoot, I didn't realized I'd skipped right over episode 8 last week. Sorry, folks, guess that's the last time I'll trust the 'Continue Watching' memory of Netflix. I'll post 8 & 10 this week.
