A.V Club review! - Mostly ahreed on the episode's "off" feeling and sluggish pacing, but also liked the inventive camera work and Holland's more mad-cap camera, also making the child a complete monster (get it? He has a dick name cause he's a dick. ) But as a whole, it's too shapeless to really go anywhere.

You're tempting me to watch this show! Last post I watched five min. this post - about ten. Progress. (BTW it feels so 90s it hurts. Northern Exposure-90s.)

yeah! We talked about that in the first episode. It feels delightfully retro and even when it aired it felt like a 90s show.

This episode was Just Okay and I am realizing more of these episodes are misses than hits for me. My household has been having a lot of conversations about how Wonderfalls is not holding up too well for us. It has lots of really great moments but so many of the episodes don't quite seem to come together. There's so much promise in this show! It could have been so awesome! But I don't think I have liked any of the episodes so far as much as I liked the pilot. This episode was not the lowest point for me (I think that's pretty solidly going to be the nun episode) but it didn't do a whole lot for me, either.
