I missed this show and I deeply enjoyed this episode. Ravi and Liv are the best. Having Clive go after Major (rightfully) makes the character more competent and sets up a real, authentic conflict between main cast.

I hope there are some sort of consequences for Liv's behavior this episode. I'm okay with people letting most of the eccentricities slide, but being racist isn't.

Poor Major, at this point it feels like a meta joke on the parts of the shows creators.

I loved grumpy Liv ! “Your t-shirt’s stupid. That’s meant to be literal."

Yeah, that was cringe-inducing. I wish she would let Clive in on the personality absorption thing, without telling him why. (If nothing else, the stoner episode seemed like a good time to pull the trigger on that - Liv comes across as increasingly eccentric to people who aren't in the know.)

I also wish she'd make up a cover story for her mom - I'd roll with a disease picked up accidentally or something.

Otherwise, loved it, and was delighted to see it back. Felt like all the other elements were working great. (Blaine about killed me, including the reveal of Don E.)

If Clive hasn't made the 'personality of the victim' connection, then he's a terrible detective.

The ongoing dramarama of Liv's mother and brother cutting her off so stridently seems really contrived in that dumb TV way, and it's bugging me. It's blood, not a kidney. It doesn't need to be from an immediate family member.

Even if Liv HAD been physically able to donate blood (and not a zombie), it's not as if the hospital would just put a line straight from her arm into her brother's. They need to screen the blood for infectious diseases. Even in the TV-version of hospital procedure.

I would expect them to be perplexed and confused and scared by her reaction in this (already contrived) blood shortage situation, but it seems really out of character for both her mother and her brother to go straight to "GTFO" rather than persisting on knowing why.
