Yay for no Betsy Ross flashbacks. Though why they had to drag 'Jack the Ripper' into the demon-of-the-week story was baffling. Like, ok, writers, I get you want to namedrop, but, if you're going to make such a big deal about the exsanguination of the present-day-murder, why would you try to tie it in with a famously bloody past murder spree?

A little better than last week though, I think.

Oh god, is Katrina back?

Still only marginally better than S02, but "Abyss of red tape and apathy" was quite good.

I'm hoping the whole deal with saving the building isn't some big McGuffin, and actually plays a critical role in things down the line. Also, if Crane keeps spouting the patriotic oratory, he's likely to find himself rubbing elbows with the local Tea Party crowd.

well, until he starts mouthing off the "perverse consequences" of the second.

Yeah, the Ripper didn't just get stabby and leave behind drained husks. He left bloody chunks of people strewn about.
