Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries: Death at the Grand
October 18, 2015 12:17 PM - Season 3, Episode 6 - Subscribe

After a hotel concierge falls to his death with Phryne's stolen bag, the trail of clues leads to her eccentric father, Baron Henry Fisher, who may finally have gotten himself into trouble too deep to be fixed by charm.

*The killer is caught, but his identity remains a mystery (aside from having been seen by Phryne in 1916, when he was arguing with her father).
*Constable Neville Martin, substituting for a still off fishing Hugh, puts the moves on Dottie.
*Jack waltzes Phryne.

The idea that Phryne would have given her father £10,000 cash in the first place is a pretty ludicrous plot contrivance. Since she wires it to England herself at the end, she could have done it herself before she put him on the boat, but the plot required her to be carrying the stupid ball I guess.

Onward to the finale!

Has she used her gambling super power before? I love that she gets a new super power pretty much every episode. Matt-Dillon-eyes-Hugh-stand-in cop guy is annoying and hotel-owner-lady was played by Hillary Clinton.
