That was a reasonably good episode by SH standards. I'm pretty sure they could have done it just as well without the Bones tie-in, but it didn't detract. Greek fire is always a crowd pleaser.

I'm no expert on 18th century firearms, but I would think even a musket ball would blow through the door of an SUV at point-blank range. I don't think Abbie's vehicle is armored.

Realistically, I expect 18th century muskets that had been mouldering away in crypts would explode in the zombies' hands when fired (or not fire at all since where are they getting dry gunpowder from), so, I'll give that one a pass.

Booth shooting out the booby trap code lock mechanism like he was Indiana Jones facing the scimitar guy was cute. All in all, this crossover event wasn't too terrible, but I'm not anxious for a repeat event no matter how many 'we should do this again sometime' comments the characters kept dropping.

So, the Zoe thing is happening. I can't see them expanding her role into a full-fledged in-on-the-demon-fighting character, so I guess odds are good she'll be getting fridged by Pandora before the finale.

I liked General Howe as a villain/monster - certainly my favorite baddie so far this season. The Bones crossover portion of the episode was pretty perfunctory but worked okay. I was even entertained by Crane's discussion with Zoe about her Betsy Ross costume; at least for me that was the most payoff I've gotten out of the whole Betsy Ross thing yet.
