Movies and shows by date?

Maybe this is the wrong venue, if so, apologies. I like the sidebar box art of the 6 most recent movies and TV shows. I'd really like if when I clicked on "All movies" or "All TV shows" that it showed the box art and in the order of most recently posted first. Thoughts?

This is a fine venue, sure. You can approximate this for movies by clicking the Movie link under Categories on the front page. You'll see all movie posts in the order they were posted.

There isn't a great equivalent for TV because new episodes are constantly being posted for shows. The show itself could have been added to the system years ago, but new posts are happening for it now. So the TV category view isn't quite what you're after. It sounds like you'd like to see new episode posts for TV shows that have been added within the last month (or so). Or maybe just a list of shows in reverse chronological order instead of alphabetical order.

We're definitely thinking and talking about ways to rearrange FanFare for discovery. We'll keep this in mind as we're doing that. There was a little discussion about FanFare organization in the recent thread about adding books if you didn't already see that.

Thanks pb. I had never seen that movie link. I do think box art for a comprehensive movie list in reverse chronological order would be cool. Or even a customizable view where you could order them by movie release date, number of comments, post date, etc. Something like what instantwatcher does?
