Uhtred finally wins the support (nominal) of Alfred, but he soon learns that it will come at a price. The Danes make a move on Wessex which leads to a confrontation between Alfred and Ubba at the negotiation table.

I was sorry to see the departure of Brida. It makes it a bit of an all-boys show.
