I second whatever review I read that called this a romantic comedy in a half hour. It was so adorable, especially the end. And especially when she finally met his parents and they were perfectly fine and welcoming.

Loved this - but was anyone else confused by the bit when Aziz got all wistful about the missing Rachel? I assumed she'd gone to Chicago for six months and he was getting depressed, hence the pasta-making. Instead she'd been away for all of... a few days?

I think he was just dwelling on the fact where she was presumably going to move away.

Yes, I thought she had already left for Chicago! And I wondered how long she'd been away and figured it must be her first visit back. And I also thought the montage was over a longer period of time, not that he made an excellent dish in one try! (Not to mention had all the correct tools and ingredients.)

Overall, quite a sweet and excellent show.
