The Inquisitors are hunting and it's up to Kanan, Ezra, Zeb and Ahsoka to stop them. The prey? Children. Also, Chopper continues to be a sociopath.

Trivia!
  • The destination of the first transport in the episode is the planet Chandel.
  • The child at the start of the episode is named 'Alora,' a nod to Elora Danan, the baby at the center of Willow.
  • The world of Takobo, featured in the episode, may have had its name influenced by the writers having lunch at a taco bar on the day they met to conference on the story.
  • The spaceport on Takobo has a distinctive arch first seen in Ralph McQuarrie's artwork for Jabba's palace. That arch was also reused in The Force Awakens on Jakku.
  • Kanan and Ezra explore a neighborhood called 'Hammertown' in the script, which notes that it was a largerly Ithorian settlement.
  • Oora's apartment has a tooka doll in it, a child's doll first seen in The Clone Wars.

Ahsoka steals the episode with her force move to stop the Sister.

I desperately need to rewatch it, as I was partially distracted this morning, but her open handed disarming of the Seventh Sister was....incredible.

This show just keeps getting better.

They do a great job showing disparate skill levels.
Like, the two new inquisitors are not as good as the grand one,
Ezra is getting better and is seen to be improving,
Kanaan is about on par with the two inquisitors,
Ahsoka is far more powerful than both
and of course Vader is legitimately terrifying.

And Stormtroopers are disposable goons. To be honest they could do with making them a bit more a threat.

Oh I'm pleased that all the inquisitors have the same dumb spinny lightsaber thing.
I'm glad they don't try and invent new weird things each time, it's just the standard gear of an inquisitor.
I guess it sort of suggests that they will never have the skill of a true Jedi. They need some gimmicks.

The sith have mainly been the "level up" bad guys who would come in when beating up the mooks was getting repetitive (even Vader in his total unstoppableness), but were within the normal command chain/responsibilities of the empire. This felt different; something only they would be doing and outside any of the rules most of the empire believes exist. A really great way to use them.

I just wanted to quote this.

Love it.

Why mess with 40 years of history?

Also, I loved the fact some of the Hammerheads had blue swimsuits.

Here's a good article on why Ahsoka is the best thing in all star wars.
