I was really bothered by the scene between Syd and Ali where Syd was making fun of Ali's hair- it took me out of the storyline because it felt obvious to me that it was written by a man. Men make fun of each other's hair and looks and clothes as a way to build up a bond between them. Women do not do that. Not even queer women. It felt totally wrong to me.

(I know that making an authoritative generalization like this runs me the risk that other women will pop in and say, "what? I totally do this with my friends!" but, nope, I'm still going to stand by it anyway.)

I was really bothered by the bathtub scene, which didn't seem consensual at ALL.
