Welcome, all, to our most fanciful episode yet! It's got everything: Extremely wrong-headed Super Bowl predictions, Travis' mushroom-tainted movie memories and a brief lesson on Mogwai rights. Come with us on a three-way mind voyage! Suggested talking points: The Hug Heard Round the World, Mushroom Movie Editions, A Very Terrible Towel, Office Traps, Pirate Jeffcoats, Emu President

I felt so bad for Travis all episode cause they went in so hard on him for something that totally is a thing! Projectionists mess up matting all the time! (Less so these days with digital, but still.)

The Facebook page has been quick to point out that, while mainstream films are usually matted to the aspect ratio the film will be when projected, lower budget films often aren't, which means you can see all sorts of weird shit when the projectionist forgets to gate the film right (I may be using the wrong terms here).

Does anyone remember what nickname Justin called Travis by in this one? I think he has used it before, but I can't remember what it is.

Possibly "Scraps"?

In the new episode, they deny the possibility of poorly gated movies and insist the evidence to the contrary is a conspiracy. Weirdly, even Travis says he doesn't think it's actually a thing and he made it up, which is so middlest brother I can't stand it.

My favorite Travis bit from this episode "[Bring me my Jeff Coat] so they can't see me Jeff." (Partially because it references a cub scout skit)
