carsonb, New Bev generally holds back a few extra tickets for box office sale the day of the show, but you have to be willing to wait in line for them.

Saw this movie at the Film Forum, which is doing an Anna Karina retrospective. It’s funny what will be declared light and charming when it spends 33% of its time showing a young woman being bullied and negged into going along with the robbery of her home and being visibly upset about it. Not that the touted charm and reverie weren’t there, but it’s a real glimpse at changing ideas of what would be seen as gratuitously distressing to the audience.
