Season finale! The crew of the Raza works to prevent the destruction of a space station and prevent a galactic corporate war.

So they did the finale cliffhanger thing. Lame.

The real cliffhanger is if the show will get another season after this one. The highlight for me was 'kill them all', the jailbreak episode. I enjoyed Android's character development, but she really is a rip off of Data/7 of 9.

I hope there is another season because this last one? Very far from the best. And what a stupid way to end it.

And I liked this episode, especially because of the news of a season 3 before the finale aired.

I'll give the show credit. It's not afraid to kill off characters, which is a nice change of pace.

Also, after the discussions we've been having about the status of the Android's upgrades it's nice to confirm they're still turned on and working.

I'm not a fan of the cliffhanger ending, but I don't regret watching this season. It wasn't as strong as the first one, but I don't feel like I've wasted my time or got annoyed enough that I won't be tuning in when it comes back for the third season, so I'll take that as a net positive--especially as I've been really disappointed at what the new fall TV season seems to be delivering. There isn't one show in the whole group that has made me say, "I've got to see that," so I'm happy to have a couple solid, workmanlike shows like Killjoys and Dark Matter to look forward to watching.

As always, it has been a pleasure watching along with this group of MeFites. Here's hoping everybody is back next year.

So who do we think lives to see next season?

Truffault clearly had a contingency plan, so Five is going to make it.
Boone being found wouldn't really be significant if whoever that was doesn't rescue him. Did anyone recognize who that was that found him?
Two has survived being spaced before, so I'm not really worried there.

Nyx is probably dead.
Not sure about Six. I'd hate to lose him because I like the actor, but he's also the only one of the original characters who doesn't have a suggested way out.

One thing that has struck out to me about the show is the weird show breaks. I always think the episode is over, but then there's a shot of the Raza in space and then another 5 or 10 minutes.

I used to think they were just bad at this. But, especially after seeing the ridiculous cliffhanger ending of season 2, I'm realizing that this is a choice. Instead of making each episode a coherent, self-contained work, everything has to point towards what's happening next.

And this hasn't really translated into any real long-term pay-off. I mean, there were a number of episodes that set things up for the finale, but it seemed to be of little consequence.

I'm just catching up on this show now. I have to say that I wasn't totally sold on the show after the first season, but decided to give it a chance anyway, since I didn't actively hate any of the characters. I've really come to like all of the characters this season. I'm surprised that the show was able to do that for me. I'm actually kind of bummed that I have no more episodes to watch.

I've seen you guys mention Killjoys a bunch, so maybe I'll give that show a try next.
