Nothing like a good old fashioned blood eagle. I liked this one better than the previous depiction.

"I've been told that your god is a carpenter. And guess what? hee hee So am I!"

The choices for background music/soundtrack felt really different than previous episodes. The direction, too.

Briefly skimmed the battle scenes in S03E07 Paris; the soundtrack was plausibly in-era. Lots of actual action instead of music-video posturing. But actual battles cost a lot of money. I understand, probably traded the fight here for the fight in the Spanish(?) market town.

As of Dec. 28th 2016, Season 5 is "is already deep into production". Wonder whether their budget has changed?

I liked this episode, but gosh, I thought it was going to include the big show down upon which it ended. The result was, "Geez, they're taking their time building up to the big battle!" Welp...and then they yada yada yada blood eagled King Aelle. Oi.

Thanks for posting, porpoise!
