AV Club recap - On a sturdy Grimm, only the puns can overpower the nightmares

Den of Geek review - No, this isn't a romantic "Breakfast in Bed" it's a spooky new episode of Grimm.

Tell-Tale TV review - On Grimm Season 6 Episode 6, Team Grimm makes some actual progress when it comes to figuring out what’s on the cloth. It’s a miracle!

I was so puzzled by that last voge by the fish-wesen, trying to remember if we'd seen one of them before and what the significance was, until I read the AV Club recap. A red herring, figuratively and literally? That's some dad-joke level punning.

Ouch, that pun was so bad it hurt. I hope this isn't the end of Meisner, but if so I like the idea of him pushing Renard down the right path and moving on. Maybe Diana will being him back one more time.

I guess that's the benefit of knowing your last episode, you can foreshadow tidings a bit ahead.

It was slightly jarring seeing William Russ here as a gruff hotel manager right after just seeing him in Colony for half a minute as a calculating agent (no spoilers, don't worry).

But with all the dad jokes, it's only appropriate for Cory's dad to be in this episode.

Turns out that the lone symbol they couldn't find a reasonable place for in that map/star chart is the Hopi word for "CANCELLED."

I loved the Red Herring but then again, I like most dad jokes.
