Carrie handles her client. Saul's trip takes a turn. Quinn investigates.

Alternate recap: Saul visits old friends from previous seasons. Carrie fucks up again. Dar Adal is the world's most menacing uncle. And Quinn turns out to be right, thanks to this week's antideus ex machina.

Not gonna lie, almost threw something at the TV the moment Sekou shows up at the same workplace where Neighbor Man had gone at 3am. The bomb was sort of the icing on the cake. I'm not what I dread more; that Neighbor Man's connection to Sekou is just a coincidence, or that they have some implausible gyrations written to explain it.

I loved Saul's visiting old spy friends though, particularly the surprise appearance by Etai, who seems to know Saul's sister. Such menace.

Dd Carrie leave Francie alone with Peter to go to Sekou? I've never liked the child storyline. I'm always waiting for her to be abandoned. Much more stressful than Saul being kidnapped.

I was wondering about Frannie too. She trusts Quinn around Frannie, so I guess he's babysitter, but it seems awkward. I agree it's all very stressful, particularly Dar showing up at the school to be menacing. If Frannie gets kidnapped by Teh Terrorists I may quit.

This is the first season where Brody's name hasn't been mentioned, not even once.

The Sekou workplace twist was a surprise for me, too. It appears his release was viewed as a problem; linking back to Saad and SA Conlin seen in S6 E2 & E3. Hopefully, that gets answered.

I was wondering about Carrie's mental state for the last few episodes. Is she off medications for good?

Dar made a reference to Frannie's red hair outside the school.

No, she's on her meds. Remember how she declined to have drink with the president-elect last episode, and the president-elect says something like, "Oh, I should have remembered,"? That was because Carrie's meds and alcohol don't mix.
