Chuck: vs. The Tango
September 26, 2014 1:50 PM - Season 1, Episode 3 - Subscribe

A stolen piece of art is the key for locating a weapon's dealer. Chuck's up for a promotion to assistant manager at work.

I quite enjoyed this one. I liked how Chuck's new job as a spy was conflicting with his every day job at the Buy More. I suspect that these two competing priorities will become a recurring theme of the show as it continues? If not, it should; it's fun.

I particularly liked the fight scenes; both Sarah and Casey got their chance to shine. And Chuck has his own fight of sorts, with Harry Tang, for the Assistant Managers position. And speaking of Tang, how cool is C.S Lee in this role? I liked him a lot in Dexter, too.

All in all, this was a fun episode. I still don't think Chuck has hit its stride yet, but three episodes into the first season, that's probably an unrealistic hope. What did you guys think of this one?

Also, Chuck really needs to learn not to flip out when he has a flash of data about someone. There's no bigger tell for "Holy shit I know you're an evil spy" than standing their frozen, wide-eyed and then babbling as you hurriedly leave the room.
