iZombie: Dirt Nap Time

When Liv and Clive work together to solve the murder of a very charming, but womanizing, preschool teacher, things get interesting when they bring his jealous girlfriend Piper (guest star Shenae Grimes of 90210) in for questioning. Meanwhile, Peyton is assigned a very interesting case. Blaine finds himself in a bad situation.

I think that the general rule of, "if you didn't see them die on screen, they're not dead" applies here (and probably more on this show than most). I mean, they're not going to kill him off when he's just started his redemption arc for reals.
I'm liking the expansion of the dominatrix / hidden camera case and am definitely intrigued to see where it leaves.

I don't follow...?
Blaine's been gut-shot and will certainly die barring some sort of sudden intervention...like being turned into a zombie once again, perhaps by Liv. If he actually does die, it's my personal opinion that it would be a bad move for the show.

Stuff:
* Nice to see Roger Cross here. I loved how his PI character gave them the intel they were after without technically breaking any rules. It'd be nice to see him again.
* Very curious about the dominatrix case too.
* No way is Blaine dead. I'd respect that creative decision, but Blaine's the Spike of iZombie.
* I like Justin. Stuff with him moved a little fast and I felt bad for Major, but he's cool. I hope he doesn't get Spinal Tapped.

It was pretty weird how suddenly Major is kewl with passing Liv on to Justin to date.
That said, it was funny how Justin adapted to dating someone acting like a kindergartner, down to the note.

I really don't like how the brains take over Liv completely and selectively. Every witness said that the preschool teacher was such a great listener, yet all Liv could do was interrupt and talk to everyone like they were children. I don't get it.

Yeah, I just don’t feel like people could go so completely from “at last we can be together” to “yeah no problem take the girl I desperately love”. Even if the cure is stolen, like, you don’t try to just I don’t know find it? And not want to complicate things in the meantime?
