The Bachelorette: Week 3

Some of the guys meet Ellen. One goes to the "Rodeo" on horseback. And some just get down and dirty.

Getting very attached to some of these guys! Peter, Kenny, and tonight Anthony, who we hadn't heard much from before. Feeling very strong hatred towards others- it sucks that the season is already in the can because I want racist Lee out NOW. Also saw a lot of unfamiliar faces- did a lot of "Who IS that?" as random white dudes with weird hair flashed on the screen.

So glad Rachel got rid of Blake and Whaboom in one fell swoop. Usually those sorts of feuds leave behind a victor to brag for awhile.

This episode really screwed my fantasy team. My league drafts for both longevity and drama, and, well, I got half right. I lost Demario, Blake, and Fred all on the same day. (And I don't see Iggy lasting much longer.) So I did reasonably well on drama at least, but then... NO. My wife has Lucas/Whaboom, Eric, AND Lee. I got nothing, man.

I dunno this episode bored me a little? esp. anthony's one-on-one date. i liked him but now i'm not sure - there must have been more that they didn't show.

although YES RACHEL to everything, including only keeping those 2 yokels around for one rose ceremony before shutting that down, producers be damned

the to be continued is weak as hell

i ... couldn't even follow the eric drama? like I don't even know what was going on there. was i not paying good enough attention (possible, I was managing a fussy infant) or was it poorly edited?

I liked Anthony a lot, and I think Rachel did, too, but it was pretty obvious they have zero actual chemistry. In real life, there would be no second date for Anthony.

She gave him a note, though--A NOTE! What does that mean?

Anthony has been my favorite since his pre-show bio, which revealed that he was a Fulbright scholar whose favorite book is The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and whose favorite movies are Moonlight and The Iron Giant, so I'm hoping he sticks around for a while

He also played Big Ten college football. He seems very well-rounded.
