The Exorcist: Janus
October 1, 2017 3:59 PM - Season 2, Episode 1 - Subscribe

A new storyline begins. In Montana, Father Marcus continues training Father Tomas to be an exorcist, but their "patient's" husband (as well as a trigger-happy local sheriff) don't trust our heroes' intentions. Elsewhere, a social worker (John Cho) takes care of troubled adolescents (including Deadpool's Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Brianna Hildebrand!) at an island estate. On the night of a very important visit, one of the kids begins to display bizarre and dangerous behavior.

Despite an awful timeslot (Fridays at 9) and little buzz, The Exorcist was renewed earlier this year for a second season. I hope it takes. This is a wonderful show that frankly blindsided me with just how good it is. The first season is available for streaming in the usual places, and this one is available from Fox, Hulu, and Amazon.

I found this show surprisingly intriguing last season, and I feel like this season is set up to be even stronger, so far. The first episode showed no signs of all of the Vatican drama from S1, but I hope it's not over.

Also, there is something WRONG with that little girl that keeps the bag over her head. Is she a ghost? Is she a demon? Is she just a weirdo? IDK, but there's definitely something not right about her.

Is nobody else watching?
