I agree Ella's fan girling over a guy who is obviously a jerk is really a poor choice. But I LOVED Dr Linda this episode. And Tom Wellington was great.

*AV Club - Lucifer explores self-identity the way only it can: with penis and butt jokes
*Den of Geek - Lt. Pierce reveals his past with Sinnerman in tonight’s episode of Lucifer.
I loved Lucifer's genuine confusion before Chloe explained that the interrogation suspect was referring to Dan as 'the good-looking guy' or whatever. Like, sometimes his abuse of Dan can get tiresome, but, that little moment made me chuckle.

It wasn't just her reaction to the comic/actor but also to Pierce when he was being a bit of a jerk in the department (or at least cold and unemotional).

Ella needs better taste in dudes. (Though her interest in Amenadiel was better.)
Murder puppet!
"Amen" is awkward. Diel? Men?
That show and all the micropenis stuff was just bad.
Angel Wings Dumpster Fire is a good name for a rock band.

Ella's character, for one, is striking a sour note with me. Apparently they've decided this year she's into guys who have abusive or asshole tendencies and she's hippy dippy okay with that. The case-of-the-week crimes seem too light or too inconsequential or something. Maybe after the growth of last season I was just expecting bigger or better things. Also, this Sinnerman character doesn't seem like a legitimate threat at this point despite how much they have attempted to show that he's a danger to Lucifer.
Lucifer not showing Chloe who he is has started to drag. Sure, he's lost his devil face, but as (I think) somebody mentioned on the last thread, he's got some big, white fluffy bits of proof that could back up at least part of his story, so why doesn't he just get on with it? I'm sure now the excuse of the day will be that he's following Pierce's lead and keeping her in the dark because it's just too dangerous for her and Trixie, but as a viewer, it's annoying.
