American Century appears to be failing, with a stable of increasingly irrelevant and mismatched artists who mostly produce flops. However, as Richie is on the brink of selling the business and making his exit, an unfortunate incident and a chance encounter with New York's burgeoning punk scene gives him reason to reconsider his career move and his sobriety.
