I am really liking the Berlantiverse shows of late. This one included. I really enjoyed Oliver's role reversal, Felicity's starring role, Olicity in general. Very fun and charming.

The role reversal is appealing, but this episode felt a bit like a filler one--it's building to the big bad and the big reveal, but there is on payoff yet (despite the team winning by not allowing the bad hacker to take down the Internet).

I loved Michael Emerson so much on Person of Interest; I'm not sure if I'll be able to enjoy him as an outright villain.

I'm just glad they finally revealed the villain d'jour. At least I assume so; you don't hire Michael Emerson just for one or two episodes.

They better get past this "Oliver can't go in the field" thing soon or this is gonna get tedious.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to enjoy him as an outright villain.

Michael Emerson's "big break" was on Lost, where he was utterly fantastic as a super-creepy villain. I'm not sure I'm on board with him getting typecast as a hacker after PoI but I have zero doubts about his "villain" chops.

It's a good thing they cast Michael Emerson, too, I'm not sure anything less than an actor that awesome could have stopped me from head-desking over the sheer inanity of the "they're going to blow up the WHOLE INTERNET!!1!1" plot. Everything about how the internet works in the Arrowverse makes no goddamned sense whatsoever. I guess they should just be glad they weren't keeping their one-server-room-internet in that town that Felicity nuked.
