Boy this was an episode of podcast content. That much is certain.

I've been involved with a project at work involving many, many horse joints. The non-vet colleague I was discussing them with called them "knees"; when I mentioned the "horse knee project" to the vet colleague, they looked at me a little funny and said that a closer equivalent was a toe joint, and that their knees are way up near where human's hips are. They're basically a big galloping terrifying hand.

Suffice to say I am super familiar with the kind of beanfreak the boys were going through, and the fact that they were having this conversation in my ears WHILE I was looking at these exact horse parts really exploded my lentil.

I haven't actually listened to this episode yet but I saw some diagram about horse legs actually being horse hands on Tumblr literally just yesterday. This info is circulating.

I want people to always be healthy but goddamn Griffin hopped up on meds is some next-level shit. This was a barnburner.

I just went down a google hole about horse fingers and found out about Propalaeotherium, the tiny lil cat-sized proto-horse, and it might be the best animal.

I think it's hilarious that the brothers either intentionally or unintentionally didn't realize Ann was period-code.

>Ann was period-code.

Is it? I considered it briefly, but 16 is super old for that nowadays, or for a 15 year old to not know about it.

It could be that 16 is just the age that all the other family members assume you must have gotten your period by. So, they clue you in at that point, even if you've been menstruating for some time by then.

I dunno. I'd never heard of "Ann" for that before.

One thing that struck me is "a bunch of vampire-hunters talking shit about Dracula" isn't an entirely inaccurate description of the original Bram Stoker book.
